Dr. Shapiro uses the Lyra-i TM Laser with a cooling sapphire tip. This is the first laser FDA approved for all skin types.

Laser energy is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle while your hair is in its active phase of growth. The laser light is converted into heat, causing damage to the hair follicle without harming the surrounding tissue. Hair re-growth is impeded in the damaged follicle. The sapphire tip continuously keeps your skin cool while the laser energy is absorbed below the surface.
